The Proclaim™ DRG is a neurostimulation system developed by Abbott, designed to treat focal chronic pain, especially in patients suffering from complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) types I and II, as well as causalgia. Unlike traditional spinal cord stimulation, this device acts directly on the dorsal root ganglion (DRG), a cluster of nerves that transmits pain signals from specific areas of the body. This technology has been shown to offer superior and sustained pain relief in areas such as the pelvis, hip, knee, ankle, and foot, even in cases where other therapies have failed.

The Proclaim™ DRG system is characterized by its discreet design and ease of use. It allows patients to control stimulation using Apple mobile devices, such as the iPod touch or certain iPhone models, without the need for recharging or external cables.
