The Niti-S™ Duodenal D is designed for the palliative treatment of duodenal obstruction caused by malignant neoplasms. Its fine-mesh nitinol structure provides uniform expansion and excellent conformability to the anatomy of the duodenum, even in tortuous segments. The absence of a coating allows drainage of lateral biliary branches, making it ideal for cases where maintaining patency of adjacent ducts is required. Clinical studies have shown that uncoated stents have a lower migration rate and a longer duration of patency compared to coated stents.
