Self-expanding biliary stent (LCD)

The LCD model is designed with large-aperture cells, allowing for the introduction of another delivery system through the cells to place a second stent in multiple biliary configurations, especially useful in Y-shaped hilar drainage or bilateral drainage configurations. It is highly valued in complex procedures and offers excellent fluoroscopic visibility. Its robust structure minimizes the risk of collapse or extrinsic compression, ensuring adequate long-term biliary drainage. The low-profile delivery system (up to 6 Fr) allows for the simultaneous insertion of two stents in advanced procedures, saving time and facilitating the technique.
