Tecnovigilance comprises a set of activities aimed at the prevention, detection, investigation, and timely communication of adverse events or potential risks related to medical devices and biomedical equipment. Its objective is to minimize any possible harm to patients, users, operators, or the environment.<\/p>

This surveillance process is carried out through a collaborative network that includes public health institutions, hospitals (both public and private), manufacturers, importers, distributors, healthcare professionals, and users. Thanks to the information collected by all these actors, it is possible to identify risks, take corrective measures, improve response times, and foster a culture of safety in the use of medical devices.<\/p>

How to report an adverse event or incident?<\/strong><\/p>
